This wine was aged for 10 months in neutral French oak, it has good citrus notes but is smoother and easier to drink due to a 50% malic acid reduction.  Although the oak used was 4 fill barrels the wine still extracted some aromatic notes that help set it apart from most Sauvignon Blancs.
